End of the Mayan Calendar: 2012 Conspiracy

Is the world coming to an end?

There is a new theory catching people’s interest: According to the Mayan calendar, the world is going to end on December 21 2012 (21.12.2012) . Is this something we should take seriously? Many wonder if the government is hiding evidence of the Earth being in danger. Is our government lying to us?

Planet X Nibiru 2012

From the beginning of history, countless profits have come forward claiming final Doomsday scenarios. One often quoted today is that the collision with Nibiru, also known as Planet X, will result in the destruction of the Earth and the extinction of life.

It is believed that the Nibiru planet only makes a complete orbit around the Sun once every 3,600 years, making it very difficult to observe. The existence of Planet X is backed by Summerian writing more than 2,500 years old. The ancient Summerian civilization had great knowledge about mathematics and astronomy, and although scientists are empty-handed of any hard evidence to support the existence of Nibiru, many uphold the detailed Summerian writings as proof of its existence.

An experiment in the 1980s used infrared rays to discover and record more than 350,000 objects in the night sky. Many of these objects were classified as “unidentified”, and from there a new conspiracy was born. Conspiracy theorists claimed that among the many “unidentified” objects newly catalogued, planet Nibiru was one of them; and that it was being tracked covertly by the US government. Later studies using telescopes found for certain that Nibiru was not present in the collection of objects. In fact, none of the newly discovered objects even turned out to be planets. Despite these findings, conspiracy theorists continue to believe that the government is hiding the truth.

The Mayan Calendar 2012

One of the most controversial calendars in the world, the Mayan calendar, ends in 2012. December 21 2012 more precisely. Many people believe that when the Mayan calendar 2012 ends the whole world will come to an end. Some scientists say the Mayans had astronomy and mathematics knowledge so advanced that it can predict the future.

The Mayan calendar is much longer than 365 days.

The 2012 Planetary Alignment

Another well known conspiracy theory claims that an astronomical event will take place in 2012: the planetary alignment. They theory says that in 2012, when all the planets align together, many strange and powerful weather events will take place on Earth. But scientists say any planet alignment in the near future will not happen, and even if it did happen it would have no impact on Earth.

Solar Magnetic Shift

The magnetic poles of the Sun will flip in the near future (since writing this article, the Sun’s poles flipped in 2011). Estimates point to this phenomenon happening in 2012. Many think this flip will bring us the most powerful solar storms in history, causing extensive damage to the Earth and spouting apocalyptic events that lead to the end of the world.

When you look back at it, since the beginning of a history book, people have said "The End Is Near." Modern science has faced many scares since the invention of fire. People like to have something to moan and groan about, for some reason. They enjoy having an "upcoming tragedy." For those of you around during 2000, do you remember? People getting wasted, lighting trash cans on fire, riots in the streets, signs saying "THE END IS NEAR!" People committing suicide? We all felt a bit dumb when we woke up the next day and realized we had to go to work. Same thing is going to happen December 21, 2012. We're going to wake up the next day and get ready to go to work. If this were a real worry, I think more people would be worried instead of cracking jokes about it and posting it on conspiracy sites. "Every little thing, is gonna be alright" in the words of the late great Bob Marley. :D

how can we say that the world will end in exact 21st of December 2012? God only knows our future..we have no right to say that because we just only an individual and we have no right to judge about world's end..so if u believe that the world will end and then believe it. no one stops you.. But for me, i don't believe that.because i know there is no end of the world…

It doesnt end then, its just a point in the course of the end that there is still a possibility it isnt happening yet. But nasa is literally covering up an energy storm that will do some pretty funky stuff… got an inside source. But dont worry about it just be a good person, dont use any technology that integrates with your brain, the aliens are not real so dont believe the bullcrap if it comes. The mayans did know things but their sources are not who you want to trust so dont trust their stuff too much or anyone with any sort of pyramid for that matter. Live life like you will live forever and like today is the last day you have at the same time and you will be happy and have no regrets.
