The mysterious ‘Curse of Tutankhamun’ deaths are alleged to be a hoax by a murderous satanist known by the name of Aleister Crowley.
In the 1920s, London was plagued by mysterious deaths believed to be the cause of ancient Egyptian black magic released from the discovery of Tutankhamun’s tomb.
More than 20 people involved in the opening of the burial chamber died in the following years.
But now evidence is surfacing that Mr. Crowley, a bisexual heroine addict who worshiped the devil and idolized Jack the Ripper, is responsible for their deaths.
The book London’s Curse: Murder, Black Magic and Tutankhamun in the 1920s West End does an excellent job chronicling the life of Crowley and connecting the dots to explain the murders. It’s interesting to note that the majority of victims were acquaintances of Crowley, or shared the same location as him at the time of their deaths.
Once thought an ancient curse; now it seems only the plot of a crazy man.
